Beyond Beyond is a cross-disciplinary creative studio set up by Giulia Astesani and Roshana Rubin-Mayhew, that produces artistic projects and takes on photographic commissions. They believe the proliferation of ideas is a powerful tool for social change. In their practice they explore themes of interconnectivity, desire, queerness and feminism.
Giulia and Roshana first began working together in 2014 as GJRL, an international four-strong female art collective who organise queer parties to fund their art projects. They have exhibited their work across Europe and both hold an MA in Photography from London College of Communication, University of the Arts London.
